Herman Brunn had a friendship with the elder Henry Ford. In fact, he built some of Ford's personal automobiles. This particular Lincoln was sold to Richard Ringling, son of Alf T. Ringling of the famous Ringling Brothers Circus.
Shown below is the documentation proving the Ringling connection to this car. We also have a letter from Herman Brunn Himself and another from Lincoln's archives.
Richard Ringling left the circus business for a life of ranching in Montana, and this lovely piece of automobile history still sports its Montana license plates.
Only ten Town Car Cabriolets were built in 1936, and only two remain in existence today.
Letter confirming that this Lincoln was owned by Richard Ringling.
