This Saxon is a Body-Off Restoration. Two years of work and a lifetime of expertise has gone into the restoration of this car. Each and every piece was taken apart and carefully restored. The engine was completely disassembled and checked with plastic gauge, all standard. The wooden spokes of the wheels were each individually restored and reassembled with brass hubcaps. It is finished with 2-Stage paint with clear coat.
The 1915 Saxon was made in Detroit, where the Saxon Motor Car Company was located from 1914 to 1922. There are only 360 Saxons (all years manufactured) known to exist in the world today. The automotive Brass Era is the first period of automotive manufacturing, named for the prominent brass fittings used during this time for such things as lights and radiators.
